Cell phone fears grip Thailand, brain hemorrhage calling

In Crazy YarpNews on December 19, 2010 at 1:03 pm

People in Northern Thailand are afraid to answer their cell phones following claims that calls from certain numbers can cause instant brain hemorrhages.

Recently, warnings have gone out to watch out for numbers containing the sequence 3333, 6666 or any number starting 083-33, 086-66 and ending with 67. If the gossip is to be believed, when calls from these numbers are answered the phones send out a high frequency signal causing an instant brain hemorrhage and blood to explode out of your ear.

The deadly phone calls have reportedly been restricted to the North of Thailand with reports coming from Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lampang, Phayao, Phrae and Nan.

It is rumored that more than 40 people have been killed in Phrae, all because of dangerous frequencies coming from their mobile phones.

Amnuay Na Lampang, Deputy Superintendent of Song Men Police, said he asked his officers to investigate the stories of people in his district dying after answering their phone. However, his officers could find no evidence of any telephone-related fatalities, but they had heard news of mobile phones causing people to crash their cars or giving them brain tumors, but never causing brain hemorrhages and instant death.

“The stories were probably just made up by youths for a laugh,” he said.

Finally, after collecting enough evidence from across the North of Thailand, our news team plucked up the courage to try one of the deadly numbers out. Our reporters called 083-333-5xxx, reportedly one of the most dangerous numbers.

Instead of an explosion of blood from the ear, however, we got hold of a very angry young woman who complained she had been called more than 100 times that day by people asking if she had been sending out high frequency death waves.

The phone then emitted a high frequency tone and our reporter suffered a fatal haemorrhage with an explosion of blood from his ear.
